Every May, we come together to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month — a time dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health, educating ourselves and others, and encouraging open, honest conversations about emotional well-being.
Mental health affects every aspect of our lives — from how we think and feel to how we connect with others and handle stress. Yet, it's often overlooked or misunderstood. This month serves as an important reminder that taking care of our mental health is just as vital as taking care of our physical health.
Whether it's through therapy, mindfulness, talking to a friend, or simply taking time to rest, there are many ways to support mental wellness. And the truth is, everyone experiences mental health challenges at some point. You're not alone — and it's okay to ask for help.
So, let’s use this month to check in with ourselves and those around us. Share resources, listen without judgment, and continue pushing for a world where mental health is prioritized and supported year-round.
You matter. Your mental health matters. Let's keep the conversation going — not just in May, but every day.
